'Light at the end of the tunnel'

Greetings to My GreatestCape readership! I appreciate you taking time out to read my posts. I haven't been on in a while. Some people say that 'life is what happens while you are making other plans' and I am beginning to understand how that is, likely, true.

I want to update my community on my plans for the completion of GreatestCape. At present, I am working diligently with my development team to complete the beta version of this site. The translation is that we are nearing completion. The joy I feel in being able to relate that is beyond description. The development of this idea/concept/business plan has taken years. I can honestly say that if someone had told me prior to beginning exactly what would have to transpire and how long it would take, I don't know if I would have undertaken the project.

It should also be mentioned that because I believed in the idea and am not a quitter, I have persevered. I realize that I have only 'reached the starting line'. I am, however, filled with gratitude to be able to be here. While I believe that this site will take on a life of its own, I will be here to guide it as it grows.

The most important thing I want the future membership of GreatestCape to know is that 'I built this site for them, the residents of the Cape Coral community. It is a beautiful place to live and it is filled with both great persons and great businesses, alike. I encourage all who read this to join us, be a part, and most of all...give us feedback and tell us how you think we can do a better job for you and the community. We will rely upon our members to tell us 'who's great' and we will support those efforts by , hopefully, delivering those businesses and individuals who truly are 'Cape Coral's Greatest' and Committed to Excellence to our community at large.
